Written as a "Dual Grade" piece.

(A) Part (Experienced player), (B) Part (Beginning-level player) - written for experienced and novice students to perform in the same ensemble. Perhaps starting in a minor key is unique for an entry level piece. "Misterioso" at the beginning depicts a scene of wandering in dark deep forest. After the forest, the mood lightens to a folksong style. Though the tempo stays the same, the style reflects a lively feast. Maintaining a steady tempo is important. After the feast, the scene turns more pastoral, marking another journey. Then, the piece builds to a climactic point, foreshadowing the future.

"Cantabile" (in a singing style). Be sure to phrase long. The piece does not have a particular story, so freely, individually interpret each musical scene. Be creative with your artistic expression.
