Tielman Susato (1500 - 1562) was a musician active during the Renaissance. Although details about his birthplace and youth remain unknown, it is known that he was a performer and composer in Antwerp, Belgium from around 1530. His greatest fame is that he became the first music publisher, in Flanders (now the region of the Netherlands, western Belgium and northern France).

He published many masses, chansons, motets, and other songs during his lifetime. His collection of dances, published in 1551, included 13 Basse danses, 9 Rondos, 1 Saltarello, 6 Branles, 8 Armandos, 7 Pavanes, and 15 Galliards.

The following four songs are selected for this arrangement.
1. La Mourisque
2. Rondeau 'Mon Amy'
3. Basse Danse 'Bergeret sans roch'
4. Pavane 'La Bataille'
