Now even smaller bands can play at events such as graduation.

The song is constructed such to be performable by parts 2-6. If part 2 is only flute there could be strong imbalance, so avoid that if possible. As with other flexible models, they are most easily balanced if utilizing instruments of a similar type. Be careful of the volume balance when you have a large number of musicians.

[About Part 1]
If you have high-voice instruments (flute, Eb clarinet), add part 1 to increase timbre.

[About percussion instruments and optional instruments]
Percussion instruments should be prioritized thusly: Perc. - Timp. - Glock.
Piano is not necessary. However, the sound will be more expansive so try to include when possible.

[If you want to add chorus...]
Although this arrangement is instrumental, the melody moves amongst various parts. If the ensemble doubles the choir, it will be difficult to sing. I suggest to use one melody part as a guide. A louder voice such as trumpet or alto saxophone is preferable. Instruments an octave below the vocals are not recommended. Utilize more repeats when singing with a full chorus. You can also use the transposed score in other ways such as with recorder or keyboard harmonica.
