Coloratura is another flute quartet work I created following Fioritura commissioned by the Flute ensemble group "Filore" in 2004. Coloratura means elaborated melody in Italian. Please enjoy personalizing the work and applying it to yourselves as the song follows a course of events. Since Coloratura is so lyrical, it should be good for concert or contest and for sectional practice as well.
