This was written to celebrate 200th birth year of the opera king, Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901).
I selected melodies from three famous operas: Triumphal March from Aida, Anvil Chorus from Il Trovatore, Gypsy Chorus and Prelude from La traviata, and again Triumphal March. I arranged it for young bands while preserving the feel of original. It is a good piece for musical training and development as Verdi’s music can also be enjoyed by a wide range of audiences.
