This song was composed in September 2014 as a commissioned work of the 18th "Kyo-En". I intended to make it accessible for small or younger ensembles according to the request, but its difficulty may make it more suitable for advanced bands.

"Oneiros" is the god of dreams from Greek mythology. This song depicts an elderly man recollecting bittersweet memories from his youth in a dream. Like a revolving lantern, the repeated theme reflects his endless memories.

When performing this piece, reflect back on your life and memories. Perhaps by doing so, you can sense my intentions for this work.
